RSV Immunization Guidance for Infants and Young Children
What to know. To prevent severe RSV disease in infants, either maternal RSV vaccination or infant immunization with the RSV monoclonal antibody (nirsevimab) is recommended. Most infants will not need both. Administration of nirsevimab is recommended during October through March in most of the U.S.
