It's the latest drama in the countdown to Greyhound's possible departure from its West Loop terminal when its lease ends in October. The city has not said where Greyhound may be allowed to relocate its bus service.

RTD gave notice to Greyhound on Sept. 1 that it intends to terminate an agreement that allows the use of Denver's Union Station underground bus concourse.

RTD said issues "have negatively contributed to RTD's operations," leading them to terminate the agreement when it expires.

Safety reasons are primarily the reason for terminating the contract.
