According to reports, WWE Friday Night SmackDown! is about to undergo a massive change that could affect the show's long-standing format.

It will be a sixth match between Andrade and Carmelo Hayes on the September 27th episode of WWE Friday Night SmackDown. Both men got into a backstage altercation on September 20th after Andrade lost a match for the United States championship against LA Knight.

WWE has applied for news trademarks relating to Friday Night SmackDown. WWE submitted the trademark applications for “SmackDown,” “S,” and “Smkdwn” to the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) on September 18 under the goods and services and entertainment categories.

The show is scheduled to start at 8 p.m. EST and will be broadcast on USA Network. Fans looking to watch can do so through FuboTV or DirecTV Stream, both of which offer a free trial. SlingTV doesn’t offer a free trial but does have other promotional offers available.

WWE programming has already undergone changes. Last Friday, SmackDown returned to the USA Network after a five-year run on FOX. Starting on Tuesday, Oct. 1, NXT will be leaving USA and heading to CW.
