Anwar Ali has received the NOC to officially join East Bengal FC in the ISL after a legal dispute with Mohun Bagan. While the ban is lifted, his future awaits a final verdict later this month.

India defender Anwar Ali has been cleared by the All India Football Federation to play for East Bengal following a Delhi High Court order. The court overturned a previous suspension, allowing him to join East Bengal for upcoming matches,

Anwar Ali has been given an NOC by the All India Football Federation’s Player Status Committee (PSC) on Thursday.

The AIFF had handed Anwar Ali with a four-month suspension on 10 September after he had terminated his contract with Mohun Bagan Super Giant in an unjust manner. He has now been cleared to play for East Bengal.

Indian defender Anwar Ali has been cleared to play for East Bengal by the All India Football Federation’s Player Status Committee. According to Sportstar and the Times of India, Ali has been given a No Objection Certificate by the committee on Thursday paving the way for him to play for East Bengal this season.
