Arcane’s first season was a genuine masterpiece. I’ve seen a lot of impressive animation over the years, but even Spider-Man: Into The Spiderverse pales in comparison. Animation studio, Fortiche, continues its impressive visuals in Season 2, though I’m a little less enthusiastic when it comes to Part 1’s story.

After a patience-testing three-year wait, Arcane season 2 has finally premiered on Netflix. Picking up exactly where its predecessor left off, the new instalment opens with Piltover's remaining council members clashing on how best to deal with the Zaun rebels, as Caitlyn and Vi vow to take down Jinx once and for all.

The first three episodes of Arcane Season 2 are now streaming on Netflix, with three more episodes dropping on Nov. 16 and Nov. 23, respectively.
