These caves are right in the city. you can give a miss if you are visiting Ajanta or ellora. these are Buddhist caves . Honestly Noting that i would recommend for long traveler Full review by Nuthan N

If you can walk 50 minutes a day and have no knee pains, you should be able to do it. The steps at Aurangabad caves are steep, it will not be a cakewalk but very doable. If you own a hiking stick, do take it along. Gives good support especially for the journey down. Climb at your own pace taking breaks frequently.
